This privacy policy explains which personal data we process on siofok.ch, why, and what rights you have. It applies to all addresses of this website (siofok.ch, book.siofok.ch).

2. Visiting the website
The website is hosted by cyon GmbH in Basel; the servers are located in Switzerland. With every request the server stores technical details in a log file: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the previous page, and browser and operating system. We need these details to run the website securely and to detect faults and attacks. The logs are deleted automatically after a short time.
3. Cookies
We only use cookies that are technically necessary for the website:
- PrestaShop-…: stores the chosen language and security values of the forms (valid for 20 days).
- PHPSESSID: a random session ID without any personal details.
We use no analytics, advertising or tracking services and no third-party cookies.
4. Booking request
When you request a reservation, we process your details: first name, last name, date of birth, email address, phone number, address, country, the accommodation and services you choose, travel dates, number of guests and your message. We use them to check your request, reply to you, handle the booking and register the guests at the accommodation.
The details reach us by email through cyon's mail server. You receive a confirmation at the email address you gave. The website logs the sending (recipient, subject, time). Where needed for your stay, we pass the details on to the people who look after the accommodations in Siófok and Majosháza (Hungary). Hungary is a member of the EU and ensures adequate data protection.
5. Contact form and email
When you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process your name, email address, phone number if given, and your message in order to answer you.
6. Spam protection
Both forms check that a person is filling them in. Your browser solves a small computing task (ALTCHA); in addition we check a hidden field and the time taken to fill in the form. This check runs on our own server, without third-party services.
7. Third-party links
The references to Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Booking.com are plain links. These providers only receive data when you click a link; their privacy policies then apply.
8. Customer accounts from the former online shop
If you created a customer account or placed an order in this website's former online shop, we keep these details (name, addresses, orders) for as long as legal retention obligations apply. We delete your account on request.
9. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as the purpose requires. Records of bookings and contracts are kept as long as the law requires (in Switzerland up to 10 years for business records). Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted once they have been dealt with.
10. Legal basis
We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). For people in the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies: we process data to prepare and perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet legal obligations (point c) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the website securely and answering requests (point f).
11. Data security
The connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS). Only the people who need your details to handle your request or booking have access to them.
12. Your rights
You can ask for information about your personal data and request its correction, deletion or handover, and you can object to its processing. Write to info@siofok.ch. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, with the data protection authority of your country.

Ragazinc GmbH accepts no liability for the correctness, accuracy, timeliness, reliability or completeness of the information on this website. Liability claims for material or immaterial damage arising from access to, use or non-use of the published information, from misuse of the connection or from technical faults are excluded. All offers are non-binding. We expressly reserve the right to change, add to or delete parts of the pages or the entire offer, or to suspend or discontinue publication, without prior notice.
