Siófok on Lake Balaton
Siófok lies on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe. For decades it has been Hungary's holiday resort: long beaches, shallow water that warms up quickly and something to do for every age.
The Balaton Sound festival in Zamárdi is about 30 minutes away by train or bus.
Nightlife
Siófok is known as Hungary's party town. By day the party is on the beach at Plázs, at night on the Petőfi promenade with its bars, clubs and open-air parties. If you want to stay right in the middle of it, book the Sio Lodge on the promenade: room for up to 24 guests.
For families
Long, shallow beaches, a climbing park, an aquapark, surfing, bike rides into the countryside or a trip through the puszta: in Siófok the whole family finds something to do, from 0 to 99.
Our holiday homes on Lake Csepány
Since 2024 we have had our own holiday homes on little Lake Csepány in Siófok, about 2 km from the Lake Balaton promenade. On the grounds you will find a pool, a sauna, our own tennis court, a beach volleyball court and our own fishing spot on the lake.

Budapest
Hungary's capital is a good 100 kilometres from Siófok and easy to explore on foot, by tram and by metro. Take a few days for the food, the architecture and the city's history. In the evening, ruin bars, cosy pubs and clubs await.
